Do you guys go back to a standard rope halter at shows?  If so do you have any problems with the cattle not liking the halter getting tight?

Once the calves are broke I don't use the ones with the rings anymore unless they are just being led or tied high.  When they are tied looser and start eating the halter will come right off.  I came back in the barn after feeding, had just stepped out for a couple of minutes, two calves were loose and one had the halter around his neck like a lariat.

We had that same problem at our first show last year...... steer was tied looser to allow him to eat and lie down, when he got up he backed right out of hte halter.  Fortunately he had a neck tie on and we were able to get him re-halter.  How do you all keep that from happening at shows?
