I love to see what some of our cooks can come up with!
Here's one I'm fixing tonight. Sorry for approximate measuring. I tend to add as needed.
Beef Cubes w/ mushroom sauce
Cube beef into bite size pieces
brown in oil- sometimes I flour first, just depends on mood
Drain any grease
Add 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup or enough to make it not too dry
add can of mushrooms if desired
season to taste
slow cook at 275 for a couple of hours until fork tender
at about an hour to go cooking add thin noodles dry; stir
make sure there is plenty of liquid, if not add some water or beef broth as needed
before serving you can add red wine or sour cream if desired
Serve- if you are old school you can use on top of mashed potatoes too.
