recommendations on buying a video camera

I am looking at purchasing a video camera to use to promote sale cattle on youtube prior to our sale in the fall.  Any recommendations out there on what to get or not to get? 

I assume that the youtube ready cameras are the way to go.

Any opinions would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Just went shopping for camcorder and got excellent help from BB as strange as that was!! Only one brand has a audio in port-Canon and most of the Canon models have this feature. Your storage is now pretty universal.Disk is just about a thing of the past tape long gone.And you can buy a universal chip to computer module that will read all 3 sizes of chips and flashsticks at camera store.the only reason I mention Canon this way is it is often difficult to do audio while holding camcorder however you can do an outside mike and have someone else do voice at same time.One thing you will notice from brand to brand other than that feature is they look like same guy made them all! features on all sure seem the same Also BB guy told me to go on line and you can compare multiple models all at one shot

Price of video cameras have gone way down and I think videos give you an edge on getting people to view and bid on your sale. 

I bought an el cheapo Polaroid for $100 that shoots hd.

I am thinking of getting a camera as well. What are these flip cameras like? I believe they take stills and video?

I checked with some one that proably has most experience as most on here an he shot's qualitty video's an he said get one of the FLIP MODELS with HD , an camera was about 175.00 an plugged right into computer an no problems with downloading or buying another program....
