Red Angus Bulls

Anyone ever use Red Angus Bulls on Black Angus vows for any reason.

I have done so for the past 6 years. We started out Angus but then in 2009 after a few years of doing both Angus and Red Angus we made the decision to go 100% Red Angus. A move we have not regretted. We mainly used our blacks as recipients for ET work but breed a couple to red bulls and turned them red. Found there is way less disposition issues with the reds. Also much better mothering and breed back was improved as well with the reds.

You can breed those black cows red and in a couple generations have an outcrossed set of straight red purebred eigible red angus cows
