We kept this red Fast FreddieXSlick 50XYardley Comanche heifer. This is clipped up job of her last fall. We are torn between just using a angus cross bull for to use I-80, Ali, or any other calving ease clubby bull. Thoughts? We really like how maternal her mom is and she is built just like her mom except for she is red.//// O0 O0 O0 Hey Bronco: proven CE bulls on SEK Genetic Horizens-Jakes Sultan of Jazz, and Jakes Touch Of Jazz ,are 2 on SEK that calve just like proud jazz-Sultan is sired by him,the other is linebred like him-The $15 per straw Wymore (Elbee Leader-Gizmo deal roan) is no slouch for hiefers either:and has that great hip Also-Redwine cattle on here (Oklahoma) has a new really cool light roan Proud Jazz son that will work too.Another good cattle guy in Oklahoma has Elbee Throwback (again on SEK) and hes the same deal-already siring champions-but hes mostly red-A good one though. You wont have calving issues with any of the bulls here-Redwines is the only one unproven-but his foundation cattle are old Okie clubby (way back-KABA Leader:alot of Dividend etc) and they are EZY calving for many generations:so if his Jazz son wasnt real big at birth-and he says its a go on hiefers,he will work.
