I'm going to echo the rest of those on here-- RW, I appreciate reading your posts, and Terrys alike. I know a lot of your replies to questions & various situations are based on years of knowledge & first hand experience; something that a few of us in here, myself included, lack (at least to the degree of you 2). I honestly feel that OPEN MINDED people who come in here searching for help can find it between the two of you. Keep posting, and as previously stated, don't let a few ruin it for the rest!

RW IMO your heart was in the right place. I don't know you from Adam but you have been there , done that. It's people like you who will pass your knowledge on to my generation. I for one think people like you and cowboy make this place what it is. I can't tell you the time I have spent reading the old posts on here. A great source of information that would be unavailable to me if people like you didn't put your two cents in. Keep on keepin on!

I don't post on SP very often, but I try to make it here at least once a day (or so) to keep caught up on all the happenings, and there are a few members that I always look for and make certain to read, RW is one of them.  I'm just not sure the broad can continue to handle loosing all these senior members.  Hope you reconsider RW!

RW, dont let it get to ya man...I enjoy your posts...I responded to one a few weeks ago, not long after joining steer planet...I threw out some random numbers as an example of the way I bill clients/partners, and a few felt a need to rip the post apart because the numbers I used were not believable...I never said they were actual stats...I just used the numbers as examples because they were good round numbers...just goes to show that some have to make a big deal out of nothing just to get noticed!

Some how the current dynamic needs to be changed.

I've always APPRECIATED this forum for the POSITIVE feel that it has.......and as most of us know from the early  years of cattle chat forums, just how personal and brutal they can get when the wild fire is allowed to spread.  That is one thing that Jason and Red(RIP) NEVER would allow.....GOD BLESS THEM!.......and I'm REAL SURE that Jason still won't let it fly.

I don't know a dang thing about RW's deal and don't want to......but I will guarantee you one thing.....whatever he said or did was intended to have a POSITIVE EFFECT.  Nuf said.

I've always wondered what would happen if you physically put ALL 5568 members of SP in one big room......with NO NAME TAGS......just how long it would take for us to figure out who we were.  The written word generally comes straight from the heart......the spoken word is most always filtered by ones physical appearance.....whether we mean to or not. 

SO.....I'm sure this little sanctuary called Steer Planet will always be what we want it to be as long as WE PROTECT IT by backing up Jason and the moderators.

;D   Wow Torch...I am honored to be put aside those other names, they are all great people!  But I am back, I really never left SP.  I have been really busy with everything over the Summer.  We had to get our new barn built after the fire destroyed it and killed both of my daughter's show steers!  We are back in business now!

I have been keeping up with Brittney, she and I talk every day...she is a very special girl.  My heart goes out to her every day!  I was very upset about Chris's death, as was everyone else.  I had a lot of conversations with him and I enjoyed him very much!  I will miss him dearly,  but he is in a better place!   Glad to be back with everyone - Lisa

Agreed!  I definitely enjoy the postings of RW, and don't feel that the PLANET will be the same without his posts.  You may need to take a short break and collect your thoughts, but please don't allow a select few to run you off.  Thanks for posting and I hope that you will continue to do so in the future!  <cowboy>
