Cut the BS said:very nice.. all look like cow changers, very similar in type/ kind from what I can tell in the pictures--- seems all need to be mated to bigger cows.
Color is obviously creeping into the cornbelt...

Sorry, me too. I'm not a 'ford guy. None the less. nice bull. One questions though, are we getting back to belt buckle cattle?Shadow Hill Farm said:Oh my bad looked it at wrong.
I have not seen the outer limits bull, but have used him some off of the description of an honest man. He is sired by Ace which is a Shotgun son. Shotgun is out of the mid continent farm Bazooka bull from quite some time ago. The dam of outer limits is a tiger x hi ho cow. Tiger was a very popular bull form a while back that goes back to Mr. Incrdible for you purebred guys. The hi ho part of the pedigree was the foundation and probably the bull that put Morgan Ranch NE on the map and that bull sired many pens of champion feeder steers at Denver. That is outer limits pedigree, I have never seen a picture and he is owned by Gerald Haseloff one of the best hereford club calf breeders in the south. Gerald does not have to promote his cattle they promote themselves.Mtnman said:Can anyone tell me anything about the Outer Limits bull sire of Deadliest Catch, or where to look for it. I will tell you about my experience with Outer Limits. He will downsize most any cow. I have not seen his structure but his calves can at times be staight enough in their rear hock and can be a touch straight shouldered. We have never had one cripple, but have had some we would like to change structually. I believe that some of the structure issues come from the use of Bazooka, not sure though. We have several outer limits again this year.
The TCCA hereford point leader this year is an outer limits calf that is has shotgun on both sides of his pedigree. Good genetics.
If I can get the semen I will be using Deadliest Catch this next fall and will be mating him to a Made Right daughter. Really impressed with RCC set of bulls.
