Besides genetics, what is the best way(if possible) to add height to a show steer?

Back in the day, one did not want to add more leg. Now you folks want to add more legs. (clapping) Back in the day they hid the legs in hay or straw.

Depending on the age of the calf use more of a grower ration and back off the fat.
