How are farm supplies in your area?  We're seeing shortages and extremely high prices for items if and when they become available.  Everything from gas to engine oil to machinery parts to farm tires and everything in between.  A friend at a farm store told me it's a 16 week wait for a metal feed bunk.  Diesel fuel hit $3.72 at the local Casey's this week.  A neighbor can't get a new head for his hay cutter until next spring.  They tell me it's going to last through 2022.  Not all this stuff comes from China.  No truckers, no workers, perhaps even nobody working.  Lack of toilet paper may be the least of our problems.

Local shop has 14 Yamaha atv's in their shop. They are broke down and can't get parts. I mean can't.

It could become a serious issue with chemicals and fertilizer. A lot of people normally prepay for a percentage of their needs at the end of the year for tax and discount reasons, but this time around it's already clear you shouldn't pay for anything that you can't take possession of.

Putting a couple stacks of seed or totes of chemical in the shed over winter isn't that big of a deal for some, but very few of us are set up to store dry fertilizer and, with the already inflated prices, next spring's rush could get ugly.
