Either that bull is standing wrong or he breaks terribly behind the shoulders. No heart girth. Big hard doing looking head. This is where chasing EPD's can get you in trouble in my opinion. I'll take the first bull pictured all day over the top seller

I see them as being very similar in Ebv's. Acceptable BWT, strong growth, good EMA and positive fats but got there in a different way one with length one with depth.
Finding the genotype that matches your phenotype is the challenge . There are as many cattle with great numbers that look awful and the are great looking cattle that don't perform
 
Rembrandt is a little different than what my market wants.  I'm sure he's great by the numbers and will do a terrific job for the buyers, just not my style.  In a way, it reminds me of Theodore.  Evidently great numbers and seems to be highly regarded overseas, but didn't really hit it off in the US herds I saw him used in.  Different bulls for different goals.
