Captain Obvious semen is not available in Canada and will not be available alot longer "south of the border" , buy it while supplies last - He is TH, PHA and DS free. From the photo I dont see a brisket problem? Best of Luckctroidl said:When I say clean up her front I am mainly referring to pulling or tightening up her brisket. She has good neck extension and is fairly smooth shouldered.
Is captain obvious available north of the border?
kiblercattle said:but a bull that will add depth of rib probably isn't going to clean any up.
I have had 19 calves by him, average 35kg (77lbs), heaviest two at 42kg (92lbs), both bulls in Autumn calving season where my BW's are usually considerably higher due to nutrition.BogartBlondes said:Maybe not the calving ease of Capiche, but JSF Gauge has been used on bigger heifers with success. He has an 88 lbs. birth weight, which in my opinion is fine for heifers.
Troidl Farms said:Not sure if anyone is interested but I am trying to sell this heifer bred this spring. I think I am going to stick with breeding her to capiche sexed female semen. If anyone is interested let me know. The only reason I am selling this heifer is to help pay for University.//// Good decision -live calf-least expensive sexed semen around-and its available. If not-one of Jaimie Diamonds ce bulls. O0

/// TM GUS IS NOTTTTTT A HIEFER BULL-However his breeder has a couple others that are O0SJcattle said:I have never used him, but what about TM Gus 36S? From what I can tell this bull really cleans up the front ends in cattle without compromising the depth factor. Although, personally I don't think your heifer is heavy in the front, at least not from that photo you have posted. Has anyone ever used TM Gus 36S?
