The picture doesn't show it but she has quiet a bit of shoulder, I was thinking of Gus 36s for her second calf. Unfortunately I do need to sell her in order to pay for University.
Tuition ain't cheap!

An interesting option that has worked well for Songers in their clubby program is the Maverick bull it may be a little line breeding (I don't know your heifer's pedigree) but Maverick is known for calving ease and is easily obtained from your heifer's breeder.  He is THF/PHF and his calves are plum awesome

Maverick yea that takes me back to 2007 got a red heifer and a red bull calf out of him. Easy calving but just didn't seem to click with the Rodeo Drive/CF Trump cattle. Pic is of the bull the heifer was lost in the shuffle.

We used Maverick on two heifers in 07. Our more mature cattle were bred AI to SS Kaboom and GNCC Salute or pasture bred by K-Kim triple X a son K-Kim oketo if I can remember correctly. We used Maverick

I dunno it was a different time for us and we just had tunnel vision for our Sonny bred donor and just were moving our program in a more clubby direction.
We ended up going the JPJ route on Trump bred heifers the next few years and now we are using MAV Bellringer on the JPJ heifers.
