Shorthorn calving ease issues or not?

A discussion board should be a discussion board............and not a propaganda board..........or a self promotion board.  You can get propaganda anywhere. On this board I can get other peoples ideas from all over the world. As I understand it the cattle winning the shows have huge bwt's. Period. Right or wrong left or right I hear it's the truth.

From my experience it would be the truth, at least on an average. I have had some of my show cattle have consistent, decent, birthweights. At the same time, from my experience most of the calves I have had from genetics that are winning in the last 5 years or so have been  too big. Especially the ET calves from embryos I have bought. The ET calves out of my cows, Athena, Tulip Rose, and Special Angie have all been in the 80-90 lb range.

Haha, well. With the verdict still out on him and his commercial semen distribution potential, it would take at least four times what I paid for him, but yeah, I guess everything is for sale.
