I'm not a good picture taker but wanted opinions of our Feb Bloodstone X Augusta Pride 1127 that we raised.

For real though. She is looking GOOD. She was nice at State Fair, but she has come on since then. You gonna take her to NAILE?

There's only one way to find out, as I always say.  I think she would do fine, she sure has the right pedigree to!

ATOZ,
The calf looks real good.  She should be able to stand the heat at NAILE.  I have taken some in the past that I was worried about, no one likes to lose.  But, you never know till you get out there and see them next to everything else in the class.  We took a bull calf a couple of years ago that I thought may be a little small compaired to the rest in his class.  Just seemed like everything we see on the bull side is huge for one reason or another.  Guess I just age them as they hit the ground, not when I "find" them like some others do.  Anyway, we were being told by quite a few folks that he looked to be the best young bull there.  So, we took him out and won the class.  One of the bigger classes of the day, and I thought he was just as good as the division winner if not better.  You never know until you go out there.

Very very nice heifer. She looks to me like she would compete. There is no shame in standing in the middle of some of the classes at the NILE, and you have a good chance of standing near the top end. Your heifer has lots of excellent qualities, and her pedigree is as current as any others.

Very Nice heifer. You should take her she will do fine and if nothing else she gets another show under her belt.

VERY VERY nice heifer. You should take her to NAILE because she would do very good out there. And you never know until you get to the NAIL becuase she could be the best one up there. And even if you don't do good at least you took her up and tried because having fun is what counts its not all about winning its about having fun.

Doug, You might as well come join the rest of us L'ville. Remember, it's the friends that you & your cattle make in the stalls that usually pay greater dividends than where you stand in the ring. I mean 6 months later most people do good to be able tell you who won the whole show, let alone wether you stood 1st, 3rd or 14th in class. I've seen a lot of cattle that stood in the bottom third of the class that I would like to have.
