Shorthorn pedigree question

Ok, since I do not know shorthorn pedigrees, can someone tell me about daughters of Waukaru Gold card? Cute heifer here sired by him out of GPN Brooke 3n1 cow.
Any insight on the pedigree aspect? Phenotypic she looks pretty good...

We haven't bought anything yet, but my daughter likes the heifer. She won Reserve Grand yesterday in the open shorthorn show, and yes the family is awesome! We stalled across from them, wonderful people!

Naylors have great cattle-Im going to venture a guess that any hiefer out of a Waukaru gold bull that is competitve in the show ring came out of A GREAT COW:along with years of documentation on the bulls sied.-And Naylors have watched BWS for along time too-love to see the dams pedigree-It sounds like you have the best of both worlds:and something you could breed to about anything safely-which is EXREMELY RARE with Shorthorn show cattle. My reaction is: dont hesitate. O0

Just snapped this real quick, Brett did not know I was taking it OK Mark, I am a bit tired, so I am missing out on your humor... Four days at the fair with early mornings and late nights has worn me out! You'll have to help me. I gave you the cow's name, and the sire, so are the genetics good? I am not so sure they want to sell, Brett really likes her. I think she is going to state fair in two weeks, but we (Simmental) go in before they do and leave before they even show up so we will miss them. They are really nice people.

In order to look up her dam-we need her reg number: Capiche is a no brainer-also-how old is she? O0

Ahh, I thought all you needed was the dams name. On the ASA (simmental) web site, I can look up a cow just by putting her name in so I thought you could do the same thing with shorthorns. I have no registration number, just the name that was on the stall card. I know she is a January, this year.

I think I found her-her dam would be an SS KaboomxDouble Stuff-but I didnt find anything with that name-Looks to have alot of grow-Kaboom and Gold Card may make her a little high gutted-time will tell-She will be a good one to breed to something EZ but deep ribbed like Capiche-or ALM Chiller first go-then whatever-maybe Simmi-I would think her bW would be OK-lotta good old cattle like 3w Payoff etc behind her granddam. O0

Here are your options.  Most likely, both lines on the cow side are littered with gutless Maine breeding.

The only thing close to maine in her breeding is Double Stuff-who is anything but gutless-she shows more of the long legged frail Ayatollah look that Golds and some of the Kabooms have-maybe along with the Payoff way back-shes also way young-and very growthy,(from the picture)and will probably fill out.She is real pretty-and smooth and somewhat fine boned-anything but maine. O0

I was referring to Trump and Double Stuff.  Ill take frail (boned) over flat sided every day of the week.  Both of these bulls are flat sided- like a piece of r channel.  I'm sure if you feed them enough they'll at least appear 'full' nonetheless.

Ive seen both of them in person-and raised cattle out of most of the sires in that hiefers pedigree going back to the late 80s-I dont like long legged hardoing big BW dual looking cat assed cattle-and other than Goldwalk himself-thats what I got with Kaboom,another son of a Venture cow,any other Golds I used,anything related to 3w Payoff etc-Ill take the combo of the Stuff depth of rib anytime.Backenhus did a really good job with Osage and Massive-and they both went back to old Shalimar and other Maines and the gold blood.The Kieth Lauer cows we had that went to Greenridge Belker etc also really worked well moderating the BWS on some of the larger bulls (like Top Draft-Deertrail Awsome, Sagebrush, etc) and again when we used sons of Stuff and Double Down who were out of huge cows. O0

Thanks.  She was a five year old in the pic on the website.  She will be nine in october.  Her dam is out of Double Stuff I'm not sure it's the cow you are thinking off. I did have a pic of her dam somewhere but not sure where anymore. She is sired by Kool and THF.  We retained one daughter in our herd out of a steermaker son we had that is a super young cow.  She has a very nice bull calf out of Free4All.  Ill try to get a pic up sometime.

Id sure like to see the Free For All-actually-your cow was the one in the list that I thought was the dam of the red Naylor Hiefer-I couldnt find anything with the Brooke name and number listed-or the dam may be a 3/4 sib or something-either way-shes way good-especially if shed be kleen O0
