Show fan placement

Our industry is always creating, changing, and evolving. I used shampoo way before the current trend. Now I see now that the fans are supposed to be on the non-show side.  What is the philosophy for placing the fans on the non-show side?

So that if it creates any swirls or waves it won't be on the show side.

I thought it was just common sense to go non show side.... didn't know it was anything new either.... did it in the 80's

Well hell, just solved what I have been trying to figure out for weeks
My calf is in a free stand pen lays on his non show side with his show side towards the fan

What do I do then?

Tie them up, and put the fans behind them.

We have always tied them up and put the fans behind them so that it keeps the hair moving forward at all times. Just what we usually do.
