Showmaster Feed $

Does anyone here feed the calf finisher of showmaster (ACCO) feeds? How much do you pay for it? Looking at different option for feed for a family I sell to from now through august because they are feeding the wrong stuff to the steers right now.

It is about $12 a bag in Oregon.  It is a good feed though

I feed their Heifer Developer-Medicated and it is $10.90 a bag. South of Houston here. I just started feeding it a month ago, and the heifer is gaining weight really well. I like it so far.  (thumbsup)

We pay $11.50 in south florida for the grower. We just started using it and so far really like it.

In our area of East Texas it is $11.90/bag, it is good feed but every year takes a tremendous price hike right before the majors start.  We feed the grower, had bad luck last year with the finisher, it was too "hot" and the calf burned out.  We feed our heifers Pilgrim's Pride Fitting Ration and have had very good results at $8.75/bag, the former nutritionist for Acco now works for them.
