I know it is not in Wisconsin but in Austin,MN they have what called the Minnesota Jr Spring Classic. It is usually in April. If you search google you will find it. I am guessing you would not be more than four hours. Our county has an open show in July. We are about four hours from Ellsworth, WI. Let me know if you would like more info.

We have been to the Black River falls show and badger kickoff both shows are great any more info you could give me about the Minnesota Jr classic or the open show in July would be appreciated. Any one been to cyclone classic or the western Illinois shows.

There is the black river falls spring thaw in April, Glennwood city that one is a 1 day show very small but a great show right before county fair. Ellsworth has one in May very nice show.

Here is a list of shows I went to in Wisconsin between fall and spring. We are Angus breeders from southeast Wisconsin so a couple of them are for just Angus.

•World Beef Expo, held at State Fair park, generally the last weekend in September.
•Badger Kick Off Classic, now held at the new Madison grounds in the beginning of December.
•Black River Spring Thaw, Black River Falls, mid-late April.
•Central Wisconsin Spring Fling, Wautoma, generally Mother's Day weekend.
•Rock County Beef Producers, Rock county fairgrounds, mid May.
•Southwestern Wisconsin Angus Classic (Angus and black crossbreds only), Lancaster, Memorial Day weekend.
•Spring Preview, Jefferson, first weekend in June.
•State Angus Show (Angus only), Jefferson, held in conjunction with spring preview.

That's basically it. Then there is State Fair of course!
