Simmental breeding opinions

Going to be a few months before I need to bred this one, but I like to think about things like this well in advance.  I have few bulls in mind, but to keep it completely unbiased I will keep them to myself for now.  This heifer is a Pays to Believe x Steel Force 3/4 blood, that needs a better tail set, slightly more level hip and some more length from hooks to pins.  Her docility is an issue as well.

I don't need a +20 CE and -5 BW bull, but a +8 CE and 0 BW would be just fine.  Lets see what y'all think!

There are a lot of options in the Simmental breed right now for first calf heifers.  Relentless, Bullseye, Loaded Up and Lover Boy all come to mind for me.  Hard not to stack the Dream On Genetics in any of the breeding, but if you don't mind it a little then Uno Mas might be a good option too.  Lover Boy is out of Duracell, which is a Dream On Son out of Honey Dew.  There are probably some good old school bulls too.  High Regard doesn't have the EPD's to be considered heifer safe, but I've heard they come easy and those are really nice cattle.  We have an Uno Mas bred to Bullseye and really looking forward to that calf, his mature picture is very impressive.

CRS we must think a like. A few of those are on my list. Bullseye is a tank of a bull!

It might be worth taking a look at the Lover Boy bull.  Gib Yardley owns him and he bought him in Denver before he was named the Champion Purebred in 2016, his first calves should be on the ground now and be in their sale later in the year, or the beginning of next.  I really like their program, function, performance and eye appeal.

I like the bullseye idea. I’m a lover for colored Simmental and he’s been throwing some red and red baldies lately if that’s what you’re into. A friend I know used a bunch to better believe it, which I know would cross up with your lineage. Maybe something yard key related would work well? I know they aren’t necessarily show cattle, but it may be enough to pul it out of her. Not sure on heifer soundness on him though.

Hes about as thick and clean made as Id use on a hiefer Pretty fronted and clean under his jaw-Which alot of them are not O0

I agree. RR is a super clean fronted bull for a Simmental. Have any heifers hit the ground from him?
