I'm looking for a simmi based bull thats also kind of clubby. I want to add bone, width, and hair to my calves but at the same time keep the maternal trait numbers up. Who do you guys think would make a good choice? I'm thinking maybe Shear Pleasure?

Yes, Matt carries it and owns him with Rhoades Cattle of Indiana.  He is gonna add a ton of power and look with hair, structure and a great cow family behind him.  His mother is getting set up to flush as we speak.

Matt Lautner carries the Chinook bull.
I have always thought that KCC Saginaw & Trendsetter were different looking for SM based bulls & I guess that is most of the reason that I am not too interested in using them. When I chose a SM bull to use, I want the bull to have SM characteristics, but those 2 bulls are different looking and may fit what you are wanting to accomplish. You can see Trendsetter on Cattle Vision's web-site & go to Trausch Farms to ck out KCC Saginaw.

last i heard, Chinook was still not freezing. I tried to order some units a couple weeks ago and was told i had to be put on a list til he starts freezing. I was bummed out cause he looks great and i think his maternal value would be awesome! JMO

Here are a few that may be of interest to you and provide what you are looking for http://www.whiteroostercattle.com/sires.html    Also don't overlook Grizzly and Meyer 735.  Any of these will give you calves that are make good mammas which I'm guessing is what you're after.  The steer calves should also be quite marketable.

Woah! These are great bulls! I really like Trendsetter and Saginaw. I've always like Grizzly but those White Rooster bulls look awesome too! I really like Real Deal and Schools Out calves. Now I have too many options!!

She is a Sand Ranch Hand daughter! Her dam is out of Built Right! :) I like her too! She has the best udder out of all of the show calves I've had and her disposition is amazing! She had her first calf this year out of Conneally Final Product!

Here is a real clubby looking suggestion for you but he also drops some beautiful heifers as well.  I really like the bull Chopper.  I believe he is also available through Lautner.
