Just thought I would share a pasture picture of a 1/2 blood sim heifer calf.  She's a Rookie x Lock N Load.  Can't seem to get a decent profile picture.

Born March 31st...dont know much about Rookie sired calves, but I hope she bodies-down more as she matures.

From what I've heard and seen from sales he is very commercially oriented. See how she matures but I think she could make a nice cow. Is that her dam behind her?

Yes...that is her mom behind her...1/2 blood LNL x OCC.  My goal is to build a little herd with outcross genetics to eventually breed to show ring sim bulls for my kids to show.  If she makes a good cow, that is fine with me.
