Thanks Everyone..

I have several bulls in mind and haven't narrowed it down yet. I'm thinking Trademark or Amazon at the moment.

Just an updated.. Born yesterday out of the same cow as the Mo Better heifer. Another little heifer sired by SHS Enhancer. I'm really happy with her..specially the face! lol. The Mo Better heifer has a heart shape on her head(she was due on Valentines Day and her name is Mo Love) this one has a slight heart shape on her head as well..so sired by Enhancer and her dams name is Emma..her new name is S/R Ella Enchanted.

Just though I'd give n update on the last calf pictured. She's 4 months old weighs 434 and her dam just being on pasture weighed 1495. Let me know what you think.

We attempted to breed a Dream On daughter to Trademark.  Really thought that could be a great combo.  Unfortunately for us, the heifer in question was cystic and after 18 months of messing with her repeatedly she headed down the road to the sale barn.

I hope that Dream On/Trademark combination works because we've got some coming next spring.

Perhaps we need to try Mo Better again; there have been some good ones.  We tried him when he was first out, and it just didn't work...very plain, ugly cavles.  They did grow, but just not enough style or thickness.  Now your heifer certainly has style.  Perhaps we just mated him wrong.

Trademark has worked well for us.

I will say that at one time I thought Mo Town would be better than MO Better but I have 2 Mo Towns and a Mo Better and the heifers are out of the same type of cow and the mo better is way better. He added ALOT of depth.. From what I've seen he needs to be used on a clean fronted cow with clean lines.

I've seen some really good Mo Betters but personal experience hasn't been the greatest.

Our first Mo Better calf is now 2.5 years old & raising an awesome bull calf.    This cow was a clean fronted, deep bodied, great profiling heifer but when you viewed her from behind, she was one of the narrowest heifers I'd seen.  We kept her but didn't show her.  She never got much thickness until last fall & then by this spring as a heavy bred, she was good enough that we bred several back to Mo Better.  She was out of a first calf ex-show heifer & maybe that had something to do with it.  Her mom has a Mama's Boy bull calf this year and he is thick as can be.

Interesting....might have to think over trying him again.

Always searching for something to use on the Dream Ons and Built Rights.

Has anyone seen any calves out of TNT Ever Ready? He's sort of an outcross, but it sure is getting hard to find really good Simmy sires that don't have Nichols Legacy somewhere in their pedigree.
