Thought I would update some photos of our Spring calves that are show prospects for next year.
The first photo is a March purebred, my daughter bought the cow/calf pair. My oldest will show her next year. She is sired by CCR Force, a Shear Force son (his owners are on here), and her maternal sire is Trademark.
The second calf is a Feb purebred, brother to the steer that my daughter showed and won a bunch with last year. He is sired by the bull in my avatar, and out of a Shear Force daughter. He will stay a bull for now, and has a very sweet personality unlike his brother (why the brother got cut). He has some fantastic EPDs.
The third photo is a rear shot of him.
This fourth photo is a Club King x 3/4 Dream On dam. She is a March also, and we slicked her off last week because I am unsure of her color! She should be black, and she has some old ring worm spots that are now black, but she looked like a darn Brown Swiss! She is the result of some embryos I bought from Jeff Miller, and has DNA'd back to her parents so we are sure of her parentage. My middle daughter will show her next year (we might need a bunch of dye for this one!).
The last pic is another embryo, a Steel Force x JS Lady. We were real surprised when this one ended up with NO white! He has been DNA'd also.
We have a few more, but I can only upload 5 photos so these are what came up. We ended up with 4 bulls and 4 heifers this spring, much better than last fall where we had 11 BULLS!
