Special prayer/thought request

one of my students who graduated last year was shot in the face new years day by his best friend's older brother, they had a gun out they were looking at, older brother took the cartridge out, but apparently didnt realize there was a round in the chamber, police are ruling it accidental...his funeral is today...

he had just stopped by school 3 weeks ago to tell me that he only had one final left to take in his first semester of college, he had made all a's and b's, had a part time job, and was saved in october and loving his new youth fellowship group...

you just never know....

please pray for both families...

I have a good friend who is like a sister to me she had to have an emergency surgery and have a shunt put in her head because of pressure build up on her brain she is one strong girl but please keep her in your prayers!

My mother-in-law pasted away Saturday morning due to complications from some fairly routine surgry. It was totally unexpected and very sudden. Please keep our family in your prayers. My wife and I both have the hope for the future that comes from faith in Christ as our Saviour. Several of my wifes siblings however do not have the hope and peace that comes from faith in our Lord and seem to be really strugging to cope.
Again, coveting your prayers.

I would like to ask for prayers for Nick Taylor. Nick is the son of Biily Zack & Mollie Taylor from Marion,KY. Many of you may know BillyZack as one of the board of directors for the Shorthorn Assoc. Nick has been going thru some health issues lately & because of that attempted suicide on Friday evening. He is in stable condition at the Uni. Of L'ville hospital. They have set up a caring bridge link if anyone would like to go to it & leave a message. He & his wife are expecting a baby in about 6 weeks. I'd like to ask for prayer for our friends/neighbors as their 15 year old son who is also one of my buddies got killed tonight. The truck he was riding in was on an old logging road and flipped which thru him out and then the truck flipped again landing on his head. Its real real hard for the family right now, and for me as I'm at college, and now realizing I'll never get to see him or his big smile again.
