I'm On the high school speech team....and i am doing an informative speech. I would like to do it on something related to cattle, agriculture or the old west.  ANY IDEAS ARE APPRECIATED!!!!!

Might consider how the amercian livestock producer is producing the SAFEST food in the world, and is FEEDING the world.
Or...how the modern livestock producer is caring for livestock far better than past generations and at the same time, saving the environment.

vegetarians like to use manure for mushrooms and other things.  if they get rid of beef, chile has some bat caves that might be valuable again.  everyone is linked. absolutism is tyranny.  is it better to let forests go unutilized and eventually burn, or use their carbon accumulators for something besides forest fires and use it for all kinds of products including homes, paper products, solvents, etc.  what are some areas that have transitioned from small family farms to larger farms and thrive, what are models for that?  i've only seen the disasters, but there must be models somewhere.

here's an interesting thread on accuaracy of global warming data.  not included in the discussion is that many sites in northern siberia went off line at some point after the collapse of the soviet union.

how far would one expect the ice pack in antarctica to stay intact as it moved away from land and into the ocean?  especially with the equivalent of santa ana winds (warm) down in south america beating on the ice pack.
what ARE the oscilllations of the earth and how has that affected the angle at which the north pole is to the sun?

this topic would probably be refused byh the school citing harassment and you would be forced to watch the goracles movie 10 times as punishment.  post partisanship means no debate.  sounds like tyranny.  schwarzenegger was a mistake.
