Yesterday we hit 82 degrees.  Then last night wind, hail, small tornando, 5 inches of rain, flooded roads and a high of 42 today.

Like we say here in CO "If you don't like the weather wait five minutes".  Hope everyone made it through okay.

Will, at least you got some moisture with it.  In the panhandle, we had .1" in about 24 hours of drizzle, lots of wind and another freeze last night and probably another freeze tonight.

Yes we have been blessed to have gotten some moiture the last 30 days.  We have good moisture on top but still dry 6 inches down.  But if we keep getting some showers we may have a good summer.

Wish we could send some of our moisture your way. We have had measurable precipitation for each of the last 14 days. Mostly rain but a few snow flurries as well. Have forgotten what the sun looks like.  Had some major rain storms today along with tornado watch. With the ground already saturated there is a lot of flooding, washed out roads, wet basements etc. Also the cow lots are mud, mud, mud. Grass is just starting to green up but no growth yet. Pastures are too wet to let the cows in without tracking them up.

Things are saturated here, small rivers have been out since last night (5.8 inches in the past 24 and it was wet before).  The Mississippi is getting pretty high as well and with more rain in the forecast.  It seems like just a couple months ago there wasn't enough water in the Miss.  for barges and now major flooding is a real possibility.  It doesn't look like there will be any corn planted around in April, its too cold any how.  It's better than no rain at all though.  One extreme to another.
