What has been your experience with using the new Standing Heat patches?  We put three on a week ago and two of them were off within 3 days.  I see they have to be warmed to 100 degrees when applied and pressed on firmly and maybe we need to be more diligent in that part.  We've always used EstrusAlert and never had a problem with them coming off.  Sometimes they pull hair and hide when trying to remove them.  The Standing Heat don't seem to have as much adhesive.

I really like them especially since i have a job off the farm at least it gives me a good indicator of when they come into standing heat. But one way to solve the adhesive problem is spray some tail adhesive on first then stick them on. Havent had a problem when i have done that.

I believe it is called Super 77 or something like that is what I have used in the past.  It is a spray on adhesive can be found in most farm supply stores and is insanely strong.  Works great and is super fast also.

I have used the KaMar adhesive with the Estro-tect patches when the patches would not stick by themselves. The KaMar sticks to about everything including the person putting the patches on.
