I couldn't resist posting some of the gazillion pics I've taken over the years of my Lowlines - fullbloods and percentages. The one of the little guy in the straw nest is the result of the dam creating the nest all on her own. After she had him and I watched long enough to see that he was going to nurse ok, I went into the house to let them bond. When I came out about an hour later, this is how I found him. Good mama as it was a cold morning with some wind coming into the barn/calving area! The little trio is from when I lived in Wyoming and the heifer walking along is from my place in Michigan.
