Steer Planets Bull Bracket II
Believe it or not its time again to start the process of selecting Bulls for this years Bull Bracket. For those of you not familiar with the “Bull Bracket” its pretty simple we do a tournament similar to the NCAA March Madness only instead of basketball teams we use Bulls and the members of Steer Planet Forum vote on each Bull match-up to determine who wins and advances on to the next round. For those who fondly remember last years event you will notice a few tweaks to this years tourney. This year we will have the bulls
separated by Breed/Classification.
Bull Bracket 09 Breeds/Classifications
Angus
Simmental
Shorthorn
Maine-Anjou
Charolais
Herefords
Clubbies
A.O.B
If we can not get at least 8 nominations for any of these Breeds/Classification I will put them into the A.O.B classification.
The alternate Breed/Classifications in order will be:
Old School Bulls
09 Bulls of Denver
Clones
If a breed recognizes a bull in its registry then that’s good enough for me. So all the crossed up Shorty’s, Maines, Simmy’s and ECT will be able to compete in their breed as long as they are registered no matter what color the papers or bull is.
Nominations:
I will be using the top 8 nominated Bulls from each Breed/Classification for the tournament.
I will post a separate topic for each Breed/Classification in where anyone interested can nominate their favorite bull or favorite bulls. There will be no limit on the amount of bulls a forum member can nominate and no limit on the amount of times a forum member nominates a bull.
Any thing else I’ll just make it up as we go along like I did last year.
