I dont know any of the kids who had horses stolen, but I grew up rodeoing in north Louisiana and have a lot of mutual connections with them. Trailer was found completely empty outside of Idabel, OK on Thursday evening. No signs of the horses or tack. Last I heard on Friday afternoon there was an arrest warrant out for a guy, but no names had been released. Everything I hear is coming through 3rd party chanels but from what I understand this doesnt look like some random theft. My understanding was the horses were taken from different parts of the barn and were all really good horses. Seems that the theif must have known the horses as a random theif probably would have just taken the first horses they came to in order to get out of dodge quicker, also all the horses but one were roping horses, and the 1 barrel horse stolen was a very very good horse. I have even heard that they are thinking the theft may have been a personal vendetta, like maybe by a competitor or something. Still a very sad situation that someone would do something like that.
