I'll agree the location part of the profile being mandatory.  There have been a few animals on the classifieds I may have been interested in if I had a clue where they are located, even if it just a state/province.

I love this website. Best cattle related website ever! Lots of highly knowledgeable people on here. I agree about the location on classifieds. I'm pretty sure though that you can put your location in your profile. This way you would just have to look at the sellers profile to get the location. Obviously not everybody does this. It would be nice to not have to ask for location. Easiest thing would be mandatory location on classifieds.

speaking of location, maybe a person's state could be added

<--------------  over there, in that "stuff" , so you wouldnt actually have to go to the person's profile and zoom out on the map to see where they are...like inbetween karma and posts....have their state in say red letters, something different from the blue, so it stands out...

Just a note your map showing pples location is off by about 300 miles. maybe it is just my profile, but i listed my town and the pin on the map is WAY off. tried to move the pin to the right location that didn't work either. I may just be dumb too. but great site. I agree if it aint broke dont fix it.

I really like FutureBreeders idea about the Sire Report page, that would have pictures of calves with what they were sired by and maybe the dam. I think that would be pretty cool.  ;D

when I pull up the "big show" i also get all the classified. It would be better for me if they were kept separate.

Jason maybe you could give a "certified ad poster" designation to those who have given their complete data in their profiles.

I am one that won't even think about responding to an ad with out the poster giving their information in the ad or in their profile.

You're doing a great job, Jason!!!    There may be a couple of little things that people have personal preferences for, but overall SP is a 10X better site than any other I've seen!!  Keep up the good work--we really appreciate it!!

I think anti democrat stuff should stay in main forum but pro democrat stuff should be put somewhere else. ;D

I would vote yes for a separate page for off cattle topic such as pictures of family, college football topics,i got more snow than you, corgies in the snow and of course politics and religion.  The cattle stuff drops off the bottom too fast .

Excellent job, this a great site and you do a fantastic job of hosting and maintaining it Jason.

My only grievance would be one small issue I have while posting, after you type a post that fills the text box, I cannont see the cursor or what I am typing without scrolling down, as soon as I start to tyoe again it rolls back to the top and I can no longer see the cursor.

Does that make sense?

Is there something I can do different to correct this myself?

Or is this just a hint to stop typing such long winded posts?

(lol)
