I was driving down the highway within about five miles of the Sun Country bulls yesterday so took took a few minutes to stop in and have a quick look at them. In my opinion there are some very good bulls there that are in nice condition to go out and work for people. There had been about two inches of rain earlier in the week and several of the bulls were not straying far from either the feedbunk or waterbowl so with only ankle high boots I was not wading going to far into the mud and did not get the best look at all of the bulls.
I did not have a catalog with me as I was looking at the bulls but going back and looking at one afterwards the Foolproof and Renegade bulls are both ones that I picked out along with another Touchdown son. Grant has definitely described Foolproof correctly as a tank although for myself personally I would not mind seeing him just a little bit bigger.
In another thread I know thunderdownunder referred to really liking one of Anwender's bulls and I would concur as the lot 31 bull is definitely a standout in the pen and a couple of others are no slouches either. There were also some Popular Park bulls that were really good red bulls.
