For all of you that show steers and heifers (either or) and were asked which feed supplements you wouldn't be without...what would they be?  Why and for what purpose.... <cowboy>.

I love Epic(even more so now that its in a pellet form!!) I also like a few different fat suplements. Epic not only grows hair but also increases their appetite!

I havent fed any in the pellet form(YET) was just informed in September that they finaly made it in a pellet form.

Just follow the feeding directions on the lable. Epic is a hair supplment, it really makes the hair grow and adds a certain shine and luster. Natural Stride worked well for us when our show animals tended to get a little short strided, its a joint supplment that helps with flexibility. We found that it helped to soften up cattle that we a little straight and tight on the move. Oxy Explosion works great to pack on pounds, while maintinaing a fresh youthful look, also seemed to add a luster and shine to the hair and skin. We fed it to market steers and show lambs.  We also have fed corn oil and calf manna in the past for a little extra bloom. Really a good complete feed like ShowChow does a great job on its own.

Has anyone fed Oxyexplosion to heifers? Is it safe to feed them consistently? Where do you buy Epic?

We never fed our bred heifers any oxy explosion. Im not sure if it has any effect or not, but why chance it. Epic is a sunglo product, we normally order ours straight from their website.

tried epic last year really liked it, i thing it is a little better than shag,  we also use power phat and were trying the moormans ruma fill this year. has anybody used the ruma fill and if so how do you like it

Ohh I almost forgot about oxy explosion. Used it in the past with great results, it will deffinatly make em put some extra lbs on. I have only fed one bag of rumafill but it is the same thing as Sunglos Full tank which I have fed probably a ton of by now. You can buy Epic off their website or from a Sunglo Dealer(or Vigertone) I have fed calf manna and never saw that good of results so I havent fed it since.
