Take a look and help me pick a bull

So here is one of my favorite cows in our commercial herd.  She is half hereford / half angus.  She is by far not the prettiest cow in the herd, but she is a great mother, milker and dog gentle.  Not to mention her last two calves have consistently weighed 50+ pounds than other calves at weaning. She has had 3 calves and so far very easy calver. This year we bred her to a Poplar ranch Hereford bull out of Central Oregon and I've attached a pic of him one month old this weekend.
Anyway I want to breed her to something clubby to try and get a 4-H steer for the kids.  They would like something with some color.  This cow definitely needs bulking up in the rear end.
What would you breed to?  Some bulls I've been thinking about are: Man Among Boys, Alias, Amen, Simple Math?
I'm open to any suggestions.

I am sure I will take some flack here, but this is exactly the kind of cow Alias will work on. No clubby breeding and lots of flex in skeleton. Of course I am always thinking females first...JMO... <rock>

What percentage of clubby bulls would that not be true for?

Alias is just one that can change one enough in one generation to be part of our small delusional world of club calves... <beer>

I would suggest Bodacious to add bone and muscle and keep color, Uno Mas to throw some thick interesting calves, and Tiger Woods to throw some great muscle and wonderful calves with cool color .

 I would definitely go Shorthorn on her-- you should maintain your great British breed traits-- marbling, docile tempermant and maternal traits- especially if you get a heifer!!
I would suggest any of the more commercial oriented bulls-- Waukaru, Lakeside, A & T and those types-- don't think that you can't get a great looking calf that could be a sensation in the show ring, but with these options- you will also get a functional calf!  
I will even give myself a plug-- check our website www.fordfamilyshorthorns.com   and consider trying my Bull-- Lead Outside the Box-- he is sired by TPS Coronet Leader 21st---bringing the old new again-- his calves look great this spring with just enough style to possibly be showring catches!!!  He could also help with adding some "butt".

Bodacious - the cow needs bone muscle and hair.  Bodacious will do a really good job of adding those traits, plus he should maintain the color you are wanting.

Bodacious was on my original list and I forgot to mention him.  I'm still very interested in the Man Among Boys bull.  I wish there were some more calf pics out there to see what he is doing. 
Shorthorns4us - One bull I really wanted to try was OCC's Blue Moon. I think he would give her some butt. 
I never in my wildest dream would have thought this would be so hard to figure out.  There are so many choices. 
Please keep the comments or suggestions coming.  I'm ordering semen next month.

Ya, wife put a $25 limit on me and the kids per straw!
With this cow having so much hereford if we bred her to Tiger Woods, do you think the odds would be pretty high for a red calf?  Kids are tired of solid blacks, and would like some chrome, but would prefer black and chrome. Reds just don't win too much at our tiny fair.  Sounds kinda picky and who knows what a person will get.  But with so many options out there I would think we could bulk up a calf and get some color.  I'm glad I posted, this has been great. Keep them coming.

I would take a look at Meyer 735.  While you would like to have a bull there is just as a good chance you may have a heifer.  735 would compliment her already great maternal traits giving you a chance for an awesome replacement heifer or good show steer...

Bodacious for sure! but the guy that suggested alias is right on. he tends to make a little harder topped calf if you breed him to anything clubby, but on a highly maternal cow like her hew ould stamp it just right. And im a shorthorn guy at heart  <rock> so im gonna just throw this out there but fringe or Phildon Get Serious would make a nice calf too!  (clapping)

Walks Alone would be a good choice. I also agree on Bodacious. They both should add what your looking for and even give you a brockle face or something. If you don't mind using a new bull...maybe even use Two Tone. Good Luck on your picking!

I've hinted about Man Among Boys and no one has commented.  Is it just because we don't know exactly what he is throwing?  On a side note a good friend of mine in my neighboring county finally let the cat out of the bag that the sire of the past three county champs (in our area) were Alias steers from very similar cows to mine. 
So I'm down to Alias, Bodacious, and Man Among Boys I think.
