Here is my beef project for 2011... A purebred shorthorn steer--- he's outa one of our best cows.... what do you think???

I like him a lot. If he were a bit bigger boned, he would be very competitive down here in the states.  A very good calf to have raised yourself.  Good luck this year!

I really like him, good strong build and length, not to mention all that hair Keep up the good work, he looks like he is kind-hearted. He seems to be a steer that will make you proud at shows

Wow! Very nice steer you have! Looks like he has a nice wide top and lots of fun hair to work with! One thing i would change/want more of would be maybe if he was a lil' deeper in his flank, but he is an awesome home raise calf! That is totally awesome to raise a calf that has great potential! Means its not going to hurt someone while working with it. And I would be more then willing to have kind hearted animals around my kids anytime. Parents on here will agree with me, no show animal is worth risking your kids life. Geeze all I said was he looked friendly,,why in the heck are you bashing me for stating that.
