Remembered another one, my old timers kicks in too often, LaRue had a totally dark room, 1 door, nothing else, calf went in, 1 person only took him feed, water, and had the only interaction with him, after about 3 days max the meanest sob on the place would break, that 1 person might be the only one that could get around him but that calf knew who fed him and never forgot, never.
