Texas Jackpot show rules

Does anyone know if heifers must be registered to be shown in jackpot shows in Texas?

Some shows check papers , some don't .. you can get an AOB or ABC tag through TJLA if you can't get breed association papers . ABC heifers will have to be classified by TJLA , neither tag will allow you to go to a major though .

At many of these shows that require registration papers, if the animals are not eligible for registration in one of the other registries, they can be registered with us, the Composite Beef Cattle Registry.

Our registration papers have and are being accepted at shows.

If you have a heifer that will not class ABC don't waste your time paying the money for the AOB tag ; because if she is not ABC or registered that is where she is going to go any way.
