Anyone seen Texas Twister at stud if so how does he look? Anyone had any calves out of him?

Kris Black sold one for 61,000 and 27,000 and 18,000 I saw the 61,000 dollars one and he sure enough is great one..............

Video from where? I'd say less than 10 of lautners bulls have videos on the move.

alot of the bulls are short strided or straight legged, alot are structurally correct I'm sure... and I'm not trying to say hes crippled i haven't seen him myself but when a bull appears to have a 12 inch  long leg it seems off to me same thing with the heat wave clones to :-\ nothing against him or the breeder obviously he works as a breeding piece judging by the bull they raised out of him  <cowboy>

A couple of them at least were out of Yellowjacket cows - I think possibly the cow called African Queen per Kris's recent female sale catalog.  Call him and ask if you want to know for sure.

We used to buy calves from Bill Elliot way back in the late 80s.  He knew what he was doing then and I'm sure he does now.  My YJ cow will be bred to him this fall.

Birth wts. can vary on Twister, as with most HW sons. Need to watch the cow side genetics to play it safe. He works well on long fronted, flat shouldered females that need powered up.

Is this Bill posting?  You used to sell some calves to the David's in Pilot Point, Tx back in the late 80s and I'm one of the kids that used to show some of them.  I think I remember correctly picking you up at the FW open show snd hauling you up to clip our steers one night at L.E's.  Have my own kids showing now.

I saw him last Tuesday at Hawkeye. He is perfectly sound and crazy good. Moderate sized, I would guess him about 50 inches or so. Should be a cow changer and work on plain common cows and the clubby type.

I have used him some and have been noting but pleased. I honestly think that this bull is going to be a great asset to the industry.

I would have to agree. Just saw him yesterday at Hawkeye....WOW! Really liked him in person. I don't think the picture in the sire catalogs do him justice. He was one of my favorites (mind you there were only a hand full there when I visited), but he was a very nice bull. I believe I might be getting a couple straws to try next year.
