As I wandered the pastures armed with the camera I photographed both Frimley Kitty Clare 43K (12 years old) and her daughter Frimley Nora Clare 19N (9 years old) both have bull calves that are looking good.

Couple of really nice looking cows. Udders look great on them. Not only for their age , but for any cow. It's nice to see cows that age still producing  and looking like that.
I lost my oldest cow this year , she was 13. Bad thing was I had a flush out of her sold to JIT. Good thing was , she was nursing a hfr by Primo that I can replace her with.

This is a Sunseeker x Cigar a few years ago as a calf. She is the mother of my Dirty Harry 2 heifer that was on Lautners Blog {pictured below her}

This is a Pale Face Son x Powerplant cow. The Baldy calf is a Naughty Pine Heifer

This is a Shorthorn x Rambo cow. She is out of the first cow pictured below. Calf is a My Turn Heifer

First Cow is a Rambo x Angus - Pictured at 16 years. Easily the best cow to grace the hillside of DSC. We have and had many many daughters and granddaughters from her that have produced our best calves to date. We lost her several years ago after an unassisted breech
Second cow is her Pale Face Son Daughter pictured as a yearling
3rd calf is a Manchild out of ^^^ that has been dominating the shows around here in Southern Ohio

This is an 11 year old out of Byland Marjory who today would have been 26-there are a couple pics: 1of 3 daughters and 2 maternal sibs,a roan grandaughter and this years Tiger Woods calf-out of a good producing daughter but no picture of her///They may not be the greatest,but everything is low BW all down the line-the bottom( daughter) now has what we hope to be a hiefer bull. O0

Alot of really nice cattle- Zachs history adding Shorthorn to the "woodpile" really shows where they work,funny how some of the greatest cows dont look it at first O0

We had a purebred shorthorn probably ten years ago that we kept 6 daughters out of. They definitely have produced above my expectations.
