The Irishman?

Any word of any calves out of him? I know it has been brought up before when I searched it but no responses. There should be calves on the ground out of him by now. I am looking at trying to use him as a foundation female maker for breeding club calves. I have a really nice Full Flush female I have been kicking around flushing to Irish Whiskey for some time but have been looking at Irish Whiskey semen prices and then noticed The Irishman being out of Irish Whiskey and Chill Factor who is also known to produce good females for club calves. Any calf reports or words if he is going to follow in his father's (Irish Whiskey) foot steps as far as producing good heifers/cows? Any word is appreciated.

This is also a bull that I would like to know about.  His mature picture is impressive, I'm not sure how many people used him because he wasn't promoted heavily.  He sure looks to be a good bull.

I showed an irishman heifer for a friend last summer there were 12 junior commercial heifers in the class, I got first.  I also have a year old irishman freemartin heifer, she was twin to a bull.  Ill take a couple pics of her tomorrow and ill find pics of the show heifer, ill post them tomorrow.  He makes great females.

Whiskey semen $700 straw x 2 total $1400. Irishman $50 x 2 $100. Very easy to make up $1300 plus some on a good Whiskey daughter. My thoughts

I got mine off Breeders World online auction last year. Cattle Visions has it listed for $50/straw, but I haven't tried to order any to see if they actually have any. I'm thinking that either there is not a lot out there or somebody didn't do their homework after seeing the price his semen went for on the last online auction I saw with him on.

This is my irishman heifer out of a pb shorthorn.    She is a year old.  Cattlevisions told me today that they just got in a bunch of irishman semen

Anyone have a good info on the Irishman?  Cows he works on? calves? BWs? Frame score? Can a person still get semen on this bull? I like his picture.  He looks stout enough and looks like he has plenty of bone. His feet all look like they go the same direction.  I know he is PHAC.  All my cows are PHAF.

My Irishman steer had a BW of 91, WW just shy of 500 lbs (was crept, weaned at 5.5 mnths), and was sold to me at 7 months old over 600. This bull will add plenty of bone, clean up a calf's front, shorten those legs,and gives a good base to work with on terms of ribs. I've seen his offspring's BW's range from as low as 80 and as high as 100+. I'd use him on a correct, lengthy and bold ribbed female. Unfortunately, my steer has a bit of a bow leg problem in the rear but at least his chest is giant. In his pictures, he doesnt seem like he has a great deal of length as some other "better" bulls but excels at his strong points, all of which are very inheritable so far. A bouns, many calves have chrome on them! Looks great on a good slicked boy  (lol)

The Irishman x Monopoly steer from my earlier post was at a show with us this weekend. he looks really good, won his class of AOB steers. I would call him moderate framed probably about a 5.5 to 6 where his momma is a strong 7. He was 1190# and well muscled, I would say he should finish out around 1275# and the families fair is the first week of August so he should be on track. He is very sound and moves good. he doesn't have the hair but he's shedded out now and it's a fairly new show family that has him. He is very gentle, it's a young little girl showing him. I will try to get a pic of him at county fair and post, but for now I'm going to breed some more to him and hope for some heifers. I think that's where his strong suit will be but I'll take anything as long as it's live and healthy.
