I like this post. I wish there were more people that would talk about how crazy PETA and other crazy animal activist groups here in the states.

Sometimes it takes real loud noises to make people listen.  Slaughtering tanukis or any animal solely for their fur is disgusting and attention should be brought to the situation.  I agree the association's attack on the game seems outlandish but I really believe it takes these type measures for people to really stop ask, " is this really ok to kill animals just for their fur?"  It's one thing to kill for food and then utilize the by products. It's quite another to kill just for the hell of it or to be 'in style.'

Unfortunately with an extremist group such as PETA it is hard to take their messages seriously due to their controversial and highly radical views.  Shock and nudity will attract attention no doubts but there is no research done by the group about the consequences of eliminating meat consumption.  I have posted some of the pictures (most of the ones I saw were not even remotely appropriate for an all age site). Also if they were as pro animal life as they claim they would have a much better adoption to euthanization ratio...  I know local societies in my area are doing much better placing pets in excellent homes.

No one takes them seriously. Rational people realize the truth lies somewhere in the middle. It does bring awareness to topics that should ateast be noted that would have otherwise been kicked under the rug.

I agree.  It's a lot harder to hide a cattle farm than it is a puppy mill.  Just sayin.

eating them is disgusting as well.

it should be brought to someone's attention.

why the left is constantly against choice is disgusting and attention should be brought to the situation.

the left is all about diversity and "preserving" culture but seeks to destroy it at every opportunity if you don't vote or agree with them.

pathetic.
