Looks like a landfill or somewhere in an underdeveloped country  -not real appropriate for younger members to be watching JMO-a couple of those people were probably injured seriously-Is it funny because they are Latin Americans? That lady who went out and tried to help is braver than any 10 of the typical Reaganesque Dorks  I encountered when I lived out there-brandishing imaginary weapons Re the so-called hostiles coming any minute -as they stood by their me generation Porches and BMWS  O0

pigs feeding on almond hulls we were feeding during drought a couple years ago.

pic only shows about 25% of the ones feeding.

not sure why people and/or the government have trouble hunting pigs.

One of the most prolific naturally reproducing species on the planet.

Yet, I'm up all night multiple times a year pulling pigs out of the local kid's show pigs.  (pop)

yes.  you need to buy a $15 tag if you take one to the butcher.

their numbers are still on the increase here.

i had a neighbor a few years back i posted on here before who used to hunt them for the government in fenced in state parks with catahoula/pit bull/rhodesian ridgeback cross dogs.

he went on to get his Ph.D in feral pig genetics in North Dakota or something.

people out here bait them with chocolate, but honestly, almond hulls draws them in the best. with a double y fence trap, i bet you could get 50 to 60 at a time.  they seem to run in packs of 10 to 30, up to 75 or 100.  they are amazing fast and i would never attempt to out run one. i don't think a 45 would be a guarantee to drop a full grown boar.  seen .30-60 drop them with a single shot

video made it look like the people who were mauled were bait for the pigs O0

essentially true.  they are more dangerous than they appear.

Most intense experience I've ever had was hunting feral pigs in the bush country of Australia... All we had was a cross-eyed dog of no identifiable breed, a quad, and a knife... Not the most efficient way to control a population, but it certainly got the blood running.

Most efficient way I've ever seen them handled was somebody baited them with grain of some sort, then when a big group was surrounding the bait they would set off a big can of tannerite. 20+ pigs gone with a single shot.
