Is she purebred? Are you wanting a purebred calf? Who's she out of?

Don't be hating on the smurf lol. She is a purebred. She isn't out of anything special, just a victor bred bull and cow, however her calves have been awesome. She has never had a bull so i wouldn't mind breeding her to a clubby bull to get a hereford appearing steer.

I got to see the herf bull Durango at select sires, very impressive!  I have never owned a herf in my life but I have to say that out of all the bulls at Rocky Mtn.  Durango was in the very top 3 when I was there.  Very long, smooth made, sound and way above average for muscle expression, especially top shape.  I was literally in awe with this bull.  I would try him to get a purebred papered bull and say pee on the defect carrier clubby if you are wanting a bull, now if you were shooting for steers I would say go ahead and rock on with the Carpe Diem.  JMHO

Cows should be judged on the quality of their progeny. Phenotypically, she looks like a quality female. Love her front end...should be a good breeding piece.

Agreed even though it was my idea to use a carrier bull.

she is kew, i like her. Never really been into Herefords though. They are very functional cattle almost super cows on less than adequate forage.

TFR Cyrus is a possibility if you stay hereford.  You might also try most clubby bulls.  She should put a white face on most anything and with a little simi and maine in the breeding I would think you should have a pretty good shot at a clubby Hereford.

I'm on the Carpe Diem bandwagon or Cotton Mouth as a second idea.
