Thoughts on this Bull calf

I would like some feedback on this white-faced bull calf. He is a % Simmental born in September 2013. We think he is really nice but I just wanted to get some other opinions on him.

Looks a lot like a good number of cows I have w/out the muscling. Very nice but needs depth

Curious what is he out of?

He is out of a commercial female, but his sire was a purebred. SF/DSF JLO's Big Bud who is out of Rendition and JF Reba 736T (JLO). She just sold in Denver for $20,000.
We have kept all the heifers from Big Bud and only two bull calves. This one is Marty-Moo. He is super calm and loves attention. My pictures aren't that good, but it's the best I could do with all the snow and 12 others in the baby pen.
