top this klutz move!

As most know, I'm a total klutz w/ some medical issues to help it along! Yesterday I was doing laundry. I think I bent down to pick up the dirty clothes using my knees. Somehow lost balance & fell backwards & hit head on bath tub. Must have knocked me out for about 30 minutes judging from time TVIO was paused & hubby called. woke up to Woody lying w/ his head on my chest & him whimpering.
Hubby was about ready to send me to place that would bubble wrap me but instead took me to ER. I didn't break anything but do have a mild concussion. I had hurt my neck from an earlier fall so that has been one reason not on-line.

So, what has been one of your finer klutz moves? Or one of your family members?

I ran into a loader bucket one time.  Dropped me to my back and bled like a stuck pig.  My blue heeler wasn't as sympathetic as he ran off with my hat.

i was playing capture the flag with some friends and tripped over a stick and broke my collar bone and had to wear a sling for 4 months cauz it would not heal.

Wow. Lost count a while back. This one is one of the more embarrassing. So you all know about those big rubber balls for exercising? Well, we got a couple. So I decided to jump and land on one to see if it would bounce me up high enough to touch the ceiling. It didn't quite work out as planned. I went up high all right, but landed on my can good and hard. Hurt for about 10 minutes after the fact.  :

I have broken both my pinkie toes chasing after kids when they were misbehaving. Boy did they have a hard time not laughing at me because they knew that would only make it worse. We all laugh about it now several years later but at the time, I was not amused.

just tore top off of a golf cart about half an hour ago trying to get it unstuck, i feel like a dumba$$.  :-\ bad move to get it stuck then pull it out by the roof bar things

This is more of a 'too dumb to be allowed out in public' post than a klutz move, but here goes:

One of my neighbors went on a trip to Florida over the July 4 holiday and asked me to do their chores and check their house. They rented a car and said they would be gone until the next WEDNESDAY.

The next TUESDAY I went up in the morning and there was a car there I had never seen before, but it had Ohio tags. My mind started getting ahead of common sense so I blocked the car in so the boogie man couldn't run out the back and make his escape. On the way to unlock the front door I was looking for a weapon and the best I could come up with was a broom sitting on the porch. I readied my skimpy little weapon, unlocked the door and charged in...and came face to face with the neighbor lady standing in the hall in her jamies. Her husband was in the bed laughing his head off.

They will never let me live that one down but feel that I am the one to watch the house in the future!

You know darn well I don't need a broom to scare the beejeebies out of folks. Intimidation by mass usually works for me! My Dad always called me his 'corn fed' daughter. I just say I'm an easy keeper!

LOL- now I don't feel quite so bad! I too ran into the loader. It had square forks. Luckily I had heavy coveralls on. Just knocked the wind out of me.

I guess my fall did a little more damage than thought. Started vomiting yesterday & headache much worse. another ER trip & do have a concussion. Oh well, life goes on!

I was using a post slammer, picked it up a little to high and it hit me right on top of my head. I had stars for a while along with a cartoon size knot on my head. My wife's nickname is Grace. She is the real klutz. Don't tell her I said that.

HA HA that sounds like a buddy of mine he was out helping me fix some fence and he asked for the post pounder.  It is one of those new ones with a spring inside.  He hit that post with all he had and pulled it back with just as much force and hit him in the head.  It was one of the funniest things I had seen in quite a while.  I dared not laugh though because A. he was helping me fix the fence.  and B. because he would have kicked my A$$.  I have also never seen one of those thrown as far as he did though.

Well, on occasion the blond streaks I have really rear their, well blondness. I’m not sure which one was worse but here’s mine. I was riding my paint and I felt the saddle slipping sideways so I tried to adjust it with my weight. Instead of readjusting the saddle I flipped under his belly and was hanging underneath him with my foot twisted in the iron, mind you he had just turned 4. Thank god he’s such a good boy, that he didn’t kick my head in. I swear if he could have talked he would have been laughing at me for not tightening the girth on both sides aka should have stuck to the western saddle -.-'. If that isn’t enough when I was younger a bunch of us where being crazy children running in the rain and I slipped like a cartoon character dose on a banana and landed flat out...with a nice splat  ))

I have seen this happen nurmous times.

We have been working, loading, and moving cattle all this week, and my dad was on a horse and he brought up a group of cattle into the tub, and there is Bars across the top to keep it from goign out, and he ducked under a couple, and then said he had better go get a hard hat, and then he turned around and smacked right into the bar! haha He still has a good sized knot on his head! lol

My husband I were wrestling around on the couch the other day and now I have a pulled muscle in my neck. I have to many klutz stories, but the funniest was when my mom was playing softball with us and she called a pop fly and was saying I got it, I got it.  Well she got it.  It missed the glove and bounced off her forehead. Our whole team cracked up!  Luckily she was okay.
