We have 3 open BWF heifers, 18 months old. Sired by a son of TC Freedom and out of Hereford cows. Never exposed to a bull--ready to breed or put eggs in. They should make good, productive cows. These girls are good sized heifers, and will definetly make good cows. While I would not put most clubby embryos in them, I do think they would work as recips for a lot of matings. As stated before, we might trade for a really good show heifer (of any breed) plus or minus $$, or cattle equipment, etc.

We have sold 2 of these heifers--thanks Scott K. The remaining heifer is the more moderate framed heifer of the group. I can email a pic if you PM with your email address. She is priced at $900--yes, she has went up A BIT in price--but we also fed her all winter. ;D If I were to pick one of the group to use as a potential club calf mother, it would be her.

Just wanted to say that I bought 2 of the 3 heifers on a gate cut (didn't sort as bought them unseen and only had room for two) and I am very happy with them. Just good functional cattle that will make great recip cows. If you have room for another recip cow or need a commercial cow to breed this would be a good one.
