A little over a month ago we had a 33lb calf and he had a real rough start by now he is doing great as you can see by the picture I took today. He finally weighs 70lbs!!!! The size a normal newborn.  When he was fist born we thought he was blind because his eye was white but what ever it was it cleared up then he got real sick. I thought for sure he was going to die but after days of feeding him with a syring he pulled through. We named him Rocky since he is such a fighter.

He is out of our herd sire who is an Ali son and his dam is out of Paddy O'Mally. Besides having an very low BW he should also be TH/PHA free. he is a funny calf because he really does act like he is the better then all the other calves. Of course that could have something to do with the fact he is very spoiled!

(lol) Thats great! I'm glad he's doin good!!! We've got a little dog(puggle) that thinks he's tougher and "better looking" than our german shepard. Keep us updated on how he does, he looks like he could be a pretty good show calf.
