Well, we had a great state fair this year! REALLY GREAT!
Our Make It Rain bull, FSSR Rainin Fire, a 3/4 blood, won not only the Junior show, but also won Bred and Owned Bull AND OPEN champion!!!! We are on cloud nine, and SOOOOOOO excited! We knew he was a great bull, but it feels really good to see others think so also! We also had, for the first time, the Breeders Choice. People nominated the top bull and heifer, and the top three nominations went up for display while people voted for their favorite. Our bull WON!!!! We could not be happier. I guess you could call that the Trifecta of the State Fair! We ordered pics through Pearl, but will not get them for several days I am sure. And not to minimize the rest of our event, our bred and owned Grandmaster heifer, FSSR Grand Grace, was Reserve Champion Heifer on the junior day, http://www.pearlspics.com/photocart/index.php?do=photocart&viewGallery=7894#image=523567 and third in her class on the open day.
Our Fat butt heifer, FSSR Faith Above, was first in her class and division champion in the junior show, http://www.pearlspics.com/photocart/index.php?do=photocart&viewGallery=7894#image=523504 and second in her class on the Open show.
Our Upgrade 3/4 blood that we bought from Jeff Miller was second in her class on both days, open and junior. http://www.pearlspics.com/photocart/index.php?do=photocart&viewGallery=7894#image=523460
So we had a VERY BLESSED State fair this year!!!! Congrats to everyone else that did so well! The weather was great and we had a fantastic time!
