I'm leaving Saturday morning to spend a week in Brownsville, TX.  Anyone on here ever been there?  Any tips, cool things to see, do etc....

Don't go to Mexico! My brother lives in McAllen and it is a bit scary right now. South Padre Island is only 30 min. away. Good offshore fishing and great bay fishing. Look at the weather, my brother said it was 98 the other day.

Do not drink the water from what I've heard.
It gives you an excuse
