This is a very profound quote , that I wish our "leaders" of today would read & try to go by!!

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.
......Abraham Lincoln

Then, why do so many "patriots" incite class hatred? Got a born-again uncle who is the biggest biggot you'd ever meet.

we are programmed to perceive threat and stratify it.

it's like training a calf.  it can be overcome by desensitization and understanding.

on the other hand, some threats are perceived as innocuous.

As far as obama goes, well, he is half right, we do live in the greatest nation in history. The rest is up for debate.
I'm with John Wayne on this one!!

it will always be a house divided, every time the presidency switches the house and senate changes, kinda a load of "carp" that people vote by what their "poltical party" believes is right.... noone votes for their state or there opinion they vote so that the media doesnt call them out for being a sell out to their party. the media finds every flaw and overlooks every positive

let the true value of assets be revealed and party won't matter.

parties are only necessary to bribe constituents.

The things that will destroy America are prosperity-at-any-price, peace-at-any-price, safety-first instead of duty-first, the love of false living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.    T. Roosevelt

native amercians had a 2 party system...one that would share with you and one that would kill you...

Is he a class biggot or a race biggot? Most of the time when someone calls a person a "biggot" it is over race , not class. There is a big difference.

i didn't get them mixed up.

indians, (native americans) like to own casino's.
indians from india like to own convenient stores and hotels.

when asians and indians call people fobbers, i quit worrying so much about names as those who are professionally ready to be offended are in my book, to be avoided at all costs unless it's a game to see what is the least effort possible to get them in a tizzy to waste time and stay without skill that is desirable in the market place.

neither seems to be a part of any traditional political party.....more of a church and state type bunch...like the amish...not much money spent on buying politicans and lobbists in the indian/amish/ and native amercian communities....they all do much better being off, not being a traditional part of the amercian tax system...kind of a reverse racial profiling....with rewards instead of punishment, with religion as a precedent over citizenship....jbarl

it's always been that way in america.  the only thing that is changing is the color of skin.  people want to be free.  denying that early americans were any different than people of different religions today that want commerce separate from religion is ridiculous.  it's really amazing that the group that people seem to hate the most are the one's who are secularist to the extreme, ie progressives and democrats, and the religious right.  they both met each other on the other side.  too bad we can't get al queda go there and all of them have a party.  instead, all three keep attacking the middle.

[/quote]It's all one-and-the-same, with him. He equates race with class, i.e., a caste system. I'd suspect this covers most "patriots".

You suspect VERY wrong in my opinion !! Are you a "patriot" ? Does this apply to you? It seems like in a lot of your past posts that you defended illegals here in the US & spoke against people that wanted them to go thru the proper procedure. Does this make you a biggot against legal citizens? Sometimes being a " class " biggot can mean against rich people as  well as poor people.
